How we Came to Being

After coaching for 3 years together for various teams, the co-founders, Nick Morton and Billy Arendt, decided to team up to create a unique travel baseball organization, based in the heart of New York City. They have been observing different travel organizations as both players and coaches and there has continually been a feeling that something was missing with all of these organizations. They began to think about the idea of their own organization because they felt that there is not a top to bottom travel organization in the New York City area whose goal is to both compete on the field at a high level AND mold their players into well rounded men and women.

Our players will be top athletes on the field, smartest students in the classroom, and most importantly, the strongest group of young leaders in their community. We believe that baseball is a great teaching tool for life and will use every opportunity to teach our players valuable life skills to ensure their success as collegiate and professional athletes.

What People are saying about The Freedom

This organization is, by far, the best experience we could've wished for for our son - Community minded coaches leading fine young men.

Not sure who has more energy, the coaches or the kids!

Teamwork is stressed on and off the field. The Freedom is great group of coaches and players.
